SILENT

IMMERSIVE AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
Creativity, corporate image, concept boards, communications.

Silent is an immersive and interactive proposal that explores the human relationship with silence. From birth to death, we follow our relationship with silence and its evolution over the years. In a space where image and sound surround you, will you be able to live in silence and stillness?

PROJECT
Silent

In a dynamic space that follows the interaction of the audience and starting from the utmost silence, we will explore scenes reflecting on comfort, abandonment and harassment, hyperactivity and the absence of silence, the search for silence within monotony, solitude and forced silence, the impossibility of experiencing absolute silence, and the final silence.

The proposal utilizes dramatic structures inherent in performing arts, applied to an installation or authorial video game-like experience, adding an interactive component as an essential part. The configuration of a space without physical elements aims to enhance the relationship with image, sound, and the transformation of space according to the scenes. Simultaneously, it aims to facilitate the movement and engagement of the spectator with the action

Through interaction and mapping, the audience's movement will be guided, utilizing this displacement as part of the discourse and dramaturgy. At times, the spectator becomes an active participant, either as the protagonist in their own story or in the stories of other spectators, generating interactions with the space that modify it and create unique scenes resulting from the particular reaction of that specific representation. Image and sound move around the space in 360 degrees as appropriate. This movement does not follow a realistic treatment but instead follows the emotional perception of the spectator.

VISUAL FOUNDATION
The Particle of Space

The Beginning and Particles
The "Silent" capsule is the core of this physical experimentation on the relationship between humans and silence. Taking this element, the capsule, as a reference point, all the images appearing in the scenes are based on and affected by rhomboid particles symbolizing it.

Symbol and Map of Silence
Throughout the entire experience, a wheel-shaped map of silence guides us. With each new scene, the wheel rotates, displaying the symbol of the starting scene and its number. In this way, as we progress through different passages or acts, the map is completed. Upon exiting the capsule, the spectator receives a map of silence with this wheel, symbols, the title of each scene, and brief texts and haikus that complement the physical experimentation.

TECHNOLOGY AND SPACE
The Capsule

The foundation of the proposal lies in mapping and interactivity. By using position and motion sensors, as well as microphones, we obtain data to generate interaction between the spectator's body and space. Four white walls created with projection fabric and a series of speakers distributed on their back allow us to map sound and image, utilizing the 360 degrees of space.

The projected images are a combination of previous audiovisual recordings, animations, and pre-created 2D and 3D elements, some of which are transformed in real-time, along with images generated in real-time through the transformation of sound and motion into visual elements.

DIFFERENT PARTS OF SILENT
The Walk, Scenes, and Sharing Silence

The audience is received about 100 meters from the capsule. After viewing an initial video, they are provided with noise-canceling headphones, and a silent walk to the capsule begins. Once there, they are given final instructions on how to proceed inside the capsule. This walk allows the spectator to immerse themselves in silence, discovering a different sonority in a daily act. This experience transforms the individual's state of mind and prepares them to experience the event from a different energy than their everyday life.

Once inside the capsule, we embark on a journey through the different scenes presented, where each individual lives a unique and personal experience. Upon exiting, the audience is given the "Map of Silence," a summary of each scene and the presented symbolism. With this map, the group is invited to sit for a moment in a space prepared for the occasion to share what they have experienced.
